"Understanding flowering phenology and productivity of apple in response to climate change in prime apple growing areas of the country" under strategic research component of NICRA
Objectives
- To understand the variability as well as trend of various weather parameters during the last three decades.
- To find out effect of climate change and climatic variability on flowering phenology of apple and walnut crop.
- To find out the effect of climatic variability on the productivity of apple and walnut production
- To develop a Land Use Planner for apposite land use planning of the apple and walnut crop under changing climatic scenarios
